Implementation based on multi-tier, distributed system architecture that can easily configure multiple server and Intelligent Modem Gateway (IMG) units in the ReplixFax Server Cluster.
Multiple ReplixFax server units and IMG units independently process inbound and outbound fax jobs simultaneously while synchronizing through a common fax database in unison.
Under normal operating conditions, the workload is distributed across multiple fax servers or IMG units for maximum overall throughput and load sharing. When any fax server cluster unit fails, its share of the workload is taken up by other live fax server units.
