The innovative solution reduces paper and streamlines document-intensive business processes
Westford, MA (April 12, 2005) –Softlinx Inc, a leading supplier of enterprise fax server and integrated document management solutions for over a decade, today announced the release of “DocuRouter™,” an industry first solution that supports rule-based routing of critical business documents—scanned, faxed or email content from multiple sources as well as online business documents—to multiple destinations using a “smart” internal document routing engine.
The solution streamlines the exchange of critical business information and eliminates unnecessary manual intervention in dealing with paper. Once integrated into your infrastructure, DocuRouter will provide overall improvement in the efficiency of document handling tracked through the lifecycle of your most important company documents.
The document router system is architected and implemented such that any application can be added to the system by developing an application connector component. An application may be both a sender and receiver of documents. A document may be routed to multiple applications or databases.
“DocuRouter enables IT professionals to set up the automated delivery of critical business information based on their business policies. In many situations business process requires delivery of online documents to multiple destinations,” said Hikyu Lee President and CEO at Softlinx, “We are excited about upcoming releases which will include additional connectors for IBM Content Manager, Documentum and many other industry leading solutions.”
